The World Health Organization defines sexual health as a state of physical, emotional, mental and social well-being in relation to sexuality; it is not merely the absence of disease, dysfunction or infirmity. Dr. J. holds an MPH and BS from Indiana University, as well as a Ph.D. in Health Studies/Community Health from Texas Woman’s University. She completed the Sexual Health Certificate Program at the University of Michigan School of Social Work, earning a certificate in sexuality counseling and education.
Dr. Jennifer Scott is a public health professional who specializes in comprehensive sex education for all ages. She is also known as “Dr. J.” and her approach to sex education focuses on addressing the questions that many people are too embarrassed to ask.
